2532403 - Error 706 in function init_before_msg() - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Client connection dies with a 706 error in the ASE errorlog:
     
       Error: 706, Severity: 20, State: 3
       Process 1147 tried to remove PROC_HDR 0x2aab3f8b0800 that it does not hold in Pss.
     
  • It is followed by a stacktrace that includes functions:
     
       rm_prochdr
       memfree
       init_before_msg
