2532517 - TREX HTTP service does not start on Linux. Error 'TREX Web Site not active, Apache configured in TREXDaemon.ini'

Symptom

  • The HTTP Service fails to start in TREXAdmin.sh. When trying to activate 'Use Http Communication', it failes with error 'TREX Web Site not active, Apache configured in TREXDaemon.ini'.

  • It is possible to start Apache separately via command: httpd -d /usr/sap/<SID>/TRX<instance number>/<hostname>/Apache.
