2532532 - Sales Order Becomes non Editable After you Select Save


You have edited the sales order which is in status open and saved it. Nevertheless when you select edit again, you see that the all the fields are grayed out.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales Work center
  2. Go to Sales Order View
  3. Select Show All and find for Order XYZ (where XYZ is the ID of the Sales Order)
  4. Open the Order , you will see that the Status is Open
  5. Select Edit
  6. Make changes
  7. Select Save
  8. Select Edit again

You see that , after the save , all the fields are grayed out and you will not be able to Edit the Sales Order even if it is in status Open


This is because of the Transfer Status of the Sales Order

The Sales Order Transfer Status helps you to identify objects sync information with ERP

The below status are currently available:

  • Not Started: Transfer not yet triggered 
  • In Process: Transfer triggered but handshake not yet complete 
  • Finished: Data successfully transferred from SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer to ERP 
  • Interrupted: Orders where data transfer stopped due to business or Technical error 
  • Not Relevant: for orders, which are not to be transferred to ERP

Once the Order is already transferred and then after that when ever you save order it will again trigger transfer to be in sync with the ERP
Hence order will be not editable till order transfer status is Finished


This is the expected system behavior.
