2532565 - Editing is not Allowed in Extensibility Apps

Possible Symptoms include:

• The Custom Analytical Queries app will not allow you to make new queries in production environments and the following error may be displayed:
  

  Changes to repository or cross-client customizing are not permitted.
  Adaptation Transport Organizer (ATO) is not configured for the system. 

• In the Custom Fields and Logic app, the following error is displayed:
  

  Editing is not allowed in this system.
  The application is not configured.

• In the Custom Fields and Logic app, field properties and code list contents cannot be changed or disabled
  
  
• In Custom Fields and Logic app, creation of data source extension failed. Error message in the corresponding Odata request is "Changes for extension XXX could not be saved". In transaction SCFD_LOG, there is message "System change option does not allow you to change object".
  
  
• In the Custom Business Objects app, the following error is displayed:
  

  Development function currently not available due to upgrade preparation

• In the Custom CDS Views app, new Custom CDS Views cannot be created and existing Custom CDS Views cannot be edited
  
  
• In the Maintain Email Templates app, one of the following errors is displayed:
  

  Development function is currently locked

  Development function currently not available due to upgrade preparation

  System is currently locked by the service provider. Try again later.

• Configure button is not visible in Create Tile app or other applications

• SAP S/4HANA (on-premise; private cloud and extended edition)
