2533281 - Unable to Hide the Timeline on the Opportunity Screen When Editing the Page or Master Layout

You navigate to any Opportunity and wish to hide the Timeline. You are unable to hide it using Edit Page Layout or Edit Master Layout.

After completing the layout changes the Timeline is still displayed on the screen.

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Click the Opportunities overview.
3. Open any opportunity.
4. Go to Adapt.
5. Click on the Edit Page/Master Layouts.
6. Hover over the Timeline and click on the Change Properties.
7. Uncheck Visible and then click on Apply.
8. Finish the layout changes.

The main reason for this is, the Timeline is a Custom Pane.

In order to hide the Timeline navigate to its parent field by hovering the mouse over Timeline.

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Click the Opportunties overview.
3. Open any opportunity.
4. Go to Adapt.
5. Click on the Edit Page/Master Layouts.
6. Hover over the Timeline and select the parent field.
7. Hover over the Timeline again and select Change Properties.
8. Uncheck Visible and then click on Apply.
9. Click on the End Layout Changes.
