2533365 - Database column of Substitute Item status and its significance

What is the Database column for the Substitue Item Status in the below screenshot and what is its significance?

This is stored in the Database table PA_CLTRL_CPNT under the column PROPAGATION_STATUS. In the UI if its showing as Valid, PROPAGATION_STATUS will be "null" in the Database meaning there is nothing to propagate.

When you make any changes to the substitute credit and Save, a background job will be scheduled to update these changes and it will show as "Pending" in the UI

During this pending status column PROPAGATION_STATUS will show as "A" which means "Add" indicating that the value is being added/updated.
