2533419 - Where do Spot Bonus Workflows trigger from?

The configured workflow is not triggering on edit mode of the "Pay Component Non Recurring" portlet.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Pay Component Non Recurring

1. Navigate to a user's Spot Bonus portlet
2. Select the edit icon (pencil)
3. Make changes
4. Save
5. No workflow is triggered.

This is expected behaviour.
The edit icon for this portlet works as an admin option, similar to how workflows do not trigger from Job History.

Workflows for the Pay Component Non Recurring portlet, only trigger from the following two places:

Currently this is working as designed. If you wish for workflows to be triggered on all actions you can adjust permissions to remove the Pencil and + icons.

Removing permission to Pencil and + icons:

In case you would not like to see Pay Components in Edit Spot Bonus UI's, you can deactivate the 'Spot Bonus Edit Action' permission as workaround.

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
2. Select the role to correct > click "Permission" button and navigate to Employee Data
3. Scroll down to HR Information block in the right panel. Untick "Spot Bonus Edit Action"
4. Save the Permission Role.
