Symptom
- You are applying UOM conversion on key figures in IBP for Inventory.
- You are looking for Best Practices on how to do it correctly and successfully.
- You might be seeing failures in one or more of the Inventory Optimization (IO) functions (Single/Multi-stage Optimization, Calculate Target Inventory Components, etc) with an error that includes 'numeric overflow' like the following:
numeric overflow: "SAPHANADB"."/IBP/CL_MULTISTAGE=>INV_MULTISTAGE_MAIN_EXT": line 161 col 8
- Even if the IO functions are not failing, results in key figures using UOM conversion may not seem correct.
