Symptom

  • happens during recovery
  • The following errors are raised in the ASE log :

Error: 14108, Severity: 20, State: 4
Could not find partition descriptor for objid 8, indid -1, ptnid 8 in dbid id.
Error: 3414, Severity: 21, State: 2
Database '<dbname>' (dbid id): Recovery failed. Check the ASE errorlog for further information as to the cause.
