Symptom

Unable to find the properties of a Custom Button during Adaptation

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  • Go to Adaptation - Edit Master Layout.
  • Hover on the Button created through PDI.
  • The pop up to change the properties of the Button does not appear.
  • Whereas another Button created through PDI in the same screen has the option.

Cause

When a custom button is created via PDI, the button group anchor is not available as it was created on top of footer and not part of Button group itself.

Resolution

  • This is the current System behavior.
  • This is considered for Future Release.
