Symptom
- After sending spool to SAPSprint there is no printout.
The spool status in Transaction SP01 is green and shows complete, but actual output did not happen. - In Transaction SPAD, the Host Printer is defined as a shared printer on another server.
Under the Access Method tab, it is defined as below: - Host Printer \\some_other_server\printer_name
- Destination Host SAPSprint_print_server_name
- It works when printing to the printer(s) directly from Windows OS level of the SAPSprint server. The issue is only with SAPSprint printouts from the SAP system.
- Among the detailed SAPSprint log files, the "sapsprint.dbg" and "sapwin_xxxxxx.log" files appear to show a correct printout with no errors or problems.
- The detailed SAPSPrint tracing was enabled with the description of SAP KBA #1780925 - "Collect SAPSprint windows log files".
