2536545 - Error WS099 during settlement document creation in ERP

Symptom

During billing document creation in an ERP environment (for example during condition contract settlement in WB2R_SC or WB2R_SV) you are getting error WS099 which is ' Error in calculation schema &, no net value can be set for item & ' , indicating that a net value cannot be set for the document item because of the customizing settings for the relevant calculation schema.
