In what scenarios does take rules associated under time type trigger?

Take rules are used to validate the leave requests.

• Take rules trigger during create, edit and cancel actions for the leave type under which it is associated.
• Take rules trigger during Employee Time imports as well.

Note:

• When creating a leave through the old v12 UI, the take rules are triggered when changing time type, start date or end date. Custom fields will not trigger the rule.
• For the new Fiori UI, rules are triggered on change of any field in the time off request leave screen.
