2537517 - Is it possible to add a Dynamic Date Range Filter to a Table report?

Is it possible to add a dynamic filter to a date field, e.g.  report needs to pull data from the past week without setting hard/static date filters in the report definition

It is not possible to add a dynamic date range in the Report - Table or Ad Hoc reporting.  The closest thing is to make the specific date field that you want to use "User-prompted".  To do this just tick the User-prompted checkbox beside the filter definition in the filter screen selection so that the user running the report is free to enter a specific date range.

Another workaround is to use report type Report - Canvas or the Online Report Designer and report from Live Data. Here it is possible to set a custom dynamic value for date filters in the Filter Designer.
