2537691 - Custom function string ERROR 13116 and 1028 Incorrect syntax near 'request' - SRS

Symptom

  • Created a function string for a user defined function string class
    create function string rs_get_sortorder for openserver
    output rpc 'execute sp_serverinfo @request = server_soname'
    go
  • When resuming connection got this error:
    ERROR #13116 DSI(104 RDS.RDB) - neric/useful/cmapp.c(1565) The function <RCIGetInfo()> failed when trying to communicate with server and database <'RDS'.'RDB'> as user <db_maint>. See Connector error messages for more information.
    ERROR #1028 DSI(104 RDS.RDB) - neric/useful/cmapp.c(1565) Message from server: Message: 102, State 181, Severity 15 -- 'Incorrect syntax near 'request''.
