2538089 - Error during Job Profile Content Import in JPB - SAP Employee Profile

Error message occurred when trying to import Role / Family under Manage job profile content import/expert page:

"Ooops! It looks like we already have Role in the system in query provided locale language"

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1.  Go to "Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export" and export the Role entity;
   
   
   
   
2.  Then, go to "Monitor Job" and download the .CSV file by clicking on the "Download Status" button;
   
   
   
   
3. Open the file, add a new entry to it, and proceed with the import (in the screenshot below, we added the "TEST ROLE");
   
   
   
   
4. Now, go to "Monitor Job", download the status and see the error "Ooops! It looks like we already have Role in the system in query provided locale language" appear, as below.

• The error might be due to the import's validation. The "blank" values might cause the upload to fail.
• Another reason for the error message would be trying to add a duplicate record to the system.

• First case scenario:

In order to resolve the issue, you need to remove the "non mandatory" values and blanks cells:

The import will then be successful, and the data will be correctly uploaded.

• Second case scenario:

If you try to add a duplicate record to the import file and upload it to the system, the validation will run, check the objects' GUID and names and throw the error message "Ooops! It looks like we already have Role in the system in query provided locale language".

Please note that this validation will also apply to inactive records.

So, for example, in case you have an inactive record, and try to add a new record to the system with these same specifications, the system will not allow the import to complete, and will throw the error.
