Symptom

  • One user is able to proxy from ASE server to a remote IQ server
  • A new user is unable to proxy from a ASE server to a remote IQ server
  • Get message 4002

Msg 4002, Level 14, State 0:
Server '<IQ Server>', Line 1:
SQL Anywhere Error -103: Invalid user ID or password
Msg 11206, Level 16, State 1:
Server '<ASE Server>', Line 1:
Unable to connect to server '<IQ Server>'
