2538363 - RepAgent: Msg 05030504 Net-Lib protocol driver call to connect two endpoints failed

Symptom

  • Primary ASE and Replication server are running

  • Replication from ASE database stop

  • "admin who_is_down" shows rep agent down

  • In primary ASE error log, it reports error:

    00:0005:00000:00098:2017/08/24 17:44:01.04 server RepAgent(17): Received the following communications error message: Msg 05030504: ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Lib protocol driver call to connect two endpoints failed.
    00:0005:00000:00098:2017/08/24 17:44:01.04 server RepAgent(17): The Rep Agent Thread will retry the connection to the Replication Server every 60second(s). (RepSvr = SYB_REP).
