Symptom
IQ server failed to start up, but no error message in .iqmsg or .stderr, and the messages in .srvlog stopped at the line "Database "XXX" (XXX.db) started at ..." for a long time.
File .srvlog looks as follows:
Starting database "test" (/datafile/test.db) at ...
Transaction log: test.log
Starting checkpoint of "test" (test.db) at ...
Finished checkpoint of "test" (test.db) at ...
Update previous log GUID to: 1f715d04-9f6c-11e7-8000-a9b7181dfb93
Update current log GUID to :8fd8cd78-9fd7-11e7-8000-af5b47125c0d
Database "test" (test.db) started at ...
