2538975 - Using variants when scheduling Analysis workbook

It is required more information above the usage of variants when scheduling Analysis workbooks in BI platform.

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform

There are some prerequisites in order to use variant when scheduling Analysis workbook in BI platform:

• The version of SAP BusinessObjects BI platform is at least 4.2 SP4;
• In the Central Management Console, properties of the Analysis Office Runtime, the "Variants Support" is set to User or User and Global as shown below:
  
  

If everything is in place according to the prerequisites above, the user should see the option "Use Variant" when scheduling the Analysis workbook as shown below:

Note that the list will only contain the variants saved in Document mode for the specific workbook in BIP.
