Symptom

  • You have configured a custom Identity Provider (IdP) for applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • After successfully logging into the IdP, the user is redirected to the application and gets a 500 error: HTTP Status 500 - An internal application error occurred
  • Trace file of the application shows the following error:

2017-09-23T19:39:23,371+0000#2911121990#ERROR#Authentication failed. Reason: The issuer of the received SAML2Response is not a trusted Identity Provider. There is no configuration for IdP [name]
