2539339 - Timeslice with stack including khashtable_insert leading to ASE crash on kpprocspin - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE errorlog reports a timeslice at atomic_try, sparclock or (null)
  • With stack functions including khashtable_insert and ubfgrow
  • ASE may hang or, more likely, crash as result of this timeslice when the spid is holding spinlock kpprocspin

  • Errorlog entries include:
