2539585 - Shutdown process of SMP3 SP13 hangs

Symptom

  • After upgrading  to SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) SP13 PL1 on SLES11, user experiences problems during the shutdown process. The following output is logged in the command console:Really want to stop Equinox? (y/n; default=y) osgi>
SMP Server did not terminate within timeout of 60*10 seconds, sending SIGKILL...
SMP Server Stopped.
Stopping Server_Daemon
Service Server_Daemon stopped

  • The SMP Server log displays the following error message 
    #WARN#com.sap.mobile.platform.server.cluster.service.impl.ClusterServiceImpl###Gemini Blueprint context shutdown thread########Cluster communications was used incorrectly in that mailbox 'com.sap.mobile.platform.server.agentry.ComponentNotificationManager' was not unregistered at shutdown time.
