2540240 - High Memory and Indexing problems in TREX

Symptom

  • You note that your TREX system experiences very high memory consumption >> size of the indices on disk.
  • You experience indexing failures. 
  • You experience long or hanging indexing runs for ESH indexes. 
  • You are indexing documents belonging to SOLMAN/DMS/PLM.
  • You restart the TREX system and the problems are resolved temporarily but return.
  • You experience 5508 or 2007 errors when trying to show indices.
