Symptom

While uploading Logistical Area in Data Migration you receive below error messgae:

Service call failed, report an case

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter.
  2. Select Overview.
  3. Search for Migration of Location & Logistic Area.
  4. Execute Step by Step migrtion file.
  5. Above error message appears in Simulation Stage.

Cause

This error occurs due to the data not correctly entered in the template. One of the issue could be because of wrong Storage Control Profile ID assigned to the LOAs.

Resolution

Storage control Profile ID does not exist, hence replace it with the correct ID.
