2540329 - Inactive Employee is reactivated without use the Rehire tool

•  Employee that was terminated successfully is suddenly reactivated by the system without use "Rehire Inactive Employee" tool.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - All Versions

1. Employee was terminated using Terminate option under take action or via import
2. Employee has a new record in the Job Information portlet and the Employee Status was changed to Active
3. No changes performed in the rehire tool or Manage Pending Hire

• Even if the customer is terminated, Administrator can add new records to their profile. This will create a new record related to an Event Reason and this Event has the Employee Status as Active so the Employee will be reactivated in the system

   

1. Go to the employee´s profile
2. Select Job Information
3. Select History
4. Identify what is the Event Reason that is inserted in the last record where the employee is Active again
5. Go to Admin Center
6. Search for Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structure
7. In the first drop-down list search for Event Reason and select the one you checked in the Job Information page
8. The Employee Status of this Event is filled as Active or similar status. If the event or event reason does not lead to a change of the Employee Status, for example, if an employee is promoted, the Admin has to leave this fiel on NO SELECTION
