How To Enable Recruiting Mobile Apply

Resolution
Here are the steps to configure Mobile Apply:
Prerequisites
Enabling Mobile Apply requires a correctly configured RCM-RMK integration.
Please refer to 2250159 - "Recruiting Mobile Apply" for the list of prerequisites.
Procedure to enable Mobile Apply
1. Enable V12 External Career Site:
- Open Admin Center
- Open Manage Recruiting Sites
- Check the option
2. Enable Mobile Apply:
- Open Admin Center
- Open Manage Recruiting Sites
- Check the option
3. Set candidate file upload options:
- Open Admin Center
- Open Manage Recruiting Sites
- Check Enable upload of documents from Dropbox to allow candidates to upload files from Dropbox.
- Check Enable upload of documents from Google Drive to allow candidates to upload files from Google Drive.
4. Allow mobile users to apply: (configuration done in Career Site Builder XML)
- Go to CSB > Tools > Import & Export > Export tab
- Export the Site Settings
- Export the Site Settings twice (important note: keep two copies of this file - one unmodified as a backup in case anything goes wrong so you can restore the original configuration, and one that you will modify)
- Open the file with a text or XML editor (e.g. Notepad++, Oxygen, etc...)
- Look for the section Use Business Card Apply for Mobile (Standard & Responsive)
- Set <usemobiletc>true</usemobiletc>
- Save the file
- Go to CSB > Tools > Import & Export > Import tab
- Import the Site Settings using the modified file
- Reload the page
Note : When disabled (Unchecked), mobile users will be asked to enter their email address and emailed a link with instructions to complete the apply process from a desktop device. When enabled (checked), mobile users on a responsive site will go through the normal apply process and be handed off to the ATS just like a desktop user.
5. Optional configuration for mobile application:
- Open Admin Center
- Open Manage Recruiting Sites
- Enable Mobile Apply
- Show Only Required Fields in the Mobile Application
Note: Enabling Show Only Required Fields in the Mobile Application allows users who apply on a handheld phone to only see fields that are listed as required. All optional fields are hidden from their experience. This only applies to the handheld devices.
Please Also Note: If you ever face an issue where all fields are showing in a mobile device even though you have enabled the setting to only show required fields, this can be due to a server cache issue. So Please deselect and select the checkbox again in Manage Recruiting Sites and this should solve that issue. Note that this is a very rare case.
