2540858 - Error /SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION057 issued after PPF execution

The error message "Assignment of internal <-> external business partner (&1/&2) not possible"  (message no. /SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION057) is issued after PPF execution. It can be found in the Outbound Delivery Order (PDO) in PPF tab, there is a message "Send ERP Delivery Messages" with status "incorrectly processed". If you check its processing log, the mentioned error is there.
