Predicates are required in a where clause in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC)

• SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP HANA

1. Create an SAP HANA Calculation View that uses a Filter Expression in a Projection to add required predicates to the where clause for a table like "SYS"."EFFECTIVE_PRIVILEGES"
2. Connect to SAP Analytics Cloud
3. Create a Live Data Connection to the SAP HANA System
4. Create a Model from the SAP HANA Calculation View
5. Create a Story 
6. Insert a Chart that uses the Model
7. Add a Measure to the Chart
8. Notice the error

SAP HANA SQL Engine is required to process an SAP HANA Calculation View that uses a Filter Expression in a Projection to add required predicates to the where clause for a table like "SYS"."EFFECTIVE_PRIVILEGES"

1. Connect to SAP HANA in SAP HANA Studio
2. Open the SAP HANA Calculation View
3. Click the "View Properties" tab
4. In the "Advanced" section change "Execute In" to "SQL Engine"
5. Click "Save and Activate" icon
