Symptom
- DISK RESIZE command takes extra space.
- Sybase device size inconsistent with File system size.
- DISK RESIZE fails with the following error:
kernel Performing space allocation for device '/sybase/SID/ooddoccopy_data.dat' (19.53 Gb). This may take some time.
kernel Fast allocation for device /sybase/SID/ooddoccopy_data.dat failed with error 28. Reverting to standard allocation.
kernel Initializing device /sybase/SID/ooddoccopy_data.dat from offset 167772160000 with zeros.
kernel udzero_out: attempt to write page 101494857 on device '/sybase/SID/ooddoccopy_data.dat' failed, system error is: Success
