Symptom

  • After BW upgrade for external HANA View based on composite provider you get the below error :

         Incident 458877 2017 HANA Views on composite providers - Failed to find column '1TECHPROV' in it

  • It can also be the case that the composite providers external HANA view is used in a custom calculation view and when executing a query on the custom calculation view, the system returns the above error message
