Symptom

Unable to edit the Note History in an Approval facet of an Opportunity.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Opportunities view.
  3. Search for opportunity ABC (where ABC is the opportunity name) and open it.
  4. Go to the Approval facet and click on the Edit button.

It is not possible to edit/delete an existing note under the section Note History.

Cause

The notes history functionality is designed to capture the notes that were taken at a certain point in time and so editing them is not permitted.

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
