Symptom
You have changed the Territory of an Account either manually or via a Realignment Run and observe that these changes are not visible in the Changes facet of the Account.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Customers Workcenter
- Navigate to Accounts View
- Open the Account ABC(where ABC is account name)
- Go to Changes facet
- There are no logs for change of Territory for the account
Cause
Customer and Sales Territory are two different objects, and the information that indicates which customer is assigned to which sales territory is stored at the Sales Territory object, even if it is displayed in the Account Thing Inspector(TI). Hence, changes to this assignment are displayed in the Changes facet of the Territory TI, and not on the Account TI.
Resolution
You can view these changes in the Changes facet of Territories view, where these assignments will be shown. Additionally, the Account TI displays these assignment changes on the Feed facet.
Changes of the territory owner are shown in the changes-tab of the Territory-TI.
Changes of the territory-team (and thus also of the territory owner) are NOT shown in the changes-tab of the Account-TI.
