2541736 - Duplicate key error in Data Collector log

Symptom

When checking the Data Collector log, you find the lines below:

  • (04100/TransactionHandler) ERR> Failed to update database destination [ContactLog]/[***] : Database operation failed :
  • (04100/TransactionHandler) ERR> SQLExecute failed (/23000/[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_TAContactLog'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.TAContactLog'.
  • The duplicate key value is (***).|/01000/[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
  • The statement has been terminated.) : Connected = [true]
