2541887 - SAML2.0: Signing Certificate can't be uploaded to Trusted Providers configuration in transaction SAML2

Symptom

You cannot upload the Primary or Secondary Signing Certificate to the Trusted Providers -> Signature and Encryption configuration in transaction SAML2.
The following error message is raised:

"Saving trusted provider data failed."

In a Security Diagnosis Tool trace you find following error:

"Certificate cannot be saved in Address Book. Long text: Certificate cannot be saved in Address Book."
