2542225 - Error Message 'PersonExternalID is mandatory' Displayed During Import

Symptom

You are using the Manage Workforce app to upload employees data in an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system. While using a formerly downloaded template with the new data, you are receiving error 'PersonExternalID is mandatory'.
The errors may be displayed in the log as follows:
