2542409 - How to Tune Documents Relevance with Boost in hybris

There are many options to tune document score in solr. This document will introduce field boosting and term boosting. For example, we want to score documents higher with a match in the field categoryName to ensure a search for "camera" shows up products in the camera-category higher ranked than products outside this category. This can be achieved by increasing the field-boost on the field categoryName. In case you want to score documents higher with perferred brand like Sony for "camera" search, you need to utilize term boost.
