2542436 - Unable to use UFL in Crystal Server Embedded 2013 SP 10, BOE 4.1 SP 10, BOE 4.2 SP 4 and CR for VS SP 21

Symptom

I recently upgraded from Crystal Server 2013 SP7 OEM to SP10.

My reports use a UFL to format some fields. This UFL was working fine in the SP7 installation and it doesn't work in the SP10 installation anymore.

The UFL is installed in the following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86

However, any time that I execute a report I get the following message:

UFL 'UFLDLLName' that implements this function is missing. Error in File MyTempReportFileName.rpt: Error in formula printDate: 'whileprintingrecords; ' UFL 'UFLDLLName.dll' that implements this function is missing.
