2542503 - Booking Type Error when creating Time Account Type

Errors below are shown upon saving for a new time account type:

• You can only use Accrual as the booking type in the accrual rule. Please change your entry accordingly.
• You can only use Accrual as the booking type in the hire rule. Please change your entry accordingly.
• You can only use Accrual as the booking type in the termination rule. Please change your entry accordingly.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Time Off Structures then select Time Account Type in Create New dropdown.

2. Fill in the required fields to create a new time account type and ensure that hire, accrual and termination rule is assigned.

3. Click Save and the errors are shown.

Posting Type in the hire/accrual/termination rule being assigned to the time account type is incorrect.

For hire/accrual/termination rules in Time Off, postiing type should only be set to Accrual. To change the posting type of the time off rules:

1. Go to Admin Center > Configure Business Rules then search for the name of the respective rules.

2. Click on Take Action > Make Correction then set posting type parameter in the Create statment of the THEN condition to Accrual and then save the changes.
