Symptom

  • Cannot promote jobs between 2 systems
  • Receive error in Job log
    • Error during import: java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to check car file ERROR 2017-10-01 14:08:40,999 UTC [Redwood Job Thread Pool: GLOBAL.System.System worker 0] job.System_Import_Archive.13042924 - Error during import: java.util.zip.Zip Exception: Open failed for '/usr/sap/<SID>/J00/j2ee/cluster/server0/scheduler/<number range>/<job number>/JOB_<name>carin.car.car' with errno 2
  • In default trace you can see error
    • RemoteException java.rmi.RemoteException: ClusterMessaging Error connecting to node=CLUSTER:<IP address:port>, host=<host>, port=<port>; nested exception is:
       java.io.IOException: Server Exception; nested exception is:
