Symptom

  • Idle RFC sessions are observed in transaction SM04 or AL08.
  • The "Dialog time" column might show a very old timestamp.
  • Based on the "User ID" and/or "Client Host" columns, it is known that the client system that opened these sessions is a remote, non-ABAP system.
