2543741 - HRIS Sync Language / Locale and Date Format

When we trigger a HRIS Sync, which is syncing data from EC to EP.
The data is not sent to EP in the locale or language the change was made in.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - HRIS Sync

1. Navigate to a user
2. Note the locale you are using for example French.
3. Make a change to the users data for today's date, which will sync to EP, for example change their department.
4. Save changes.
5. Refresh the page.
6. Check the employee EP data either in the UI or via an Employee Export.
7. The department name is showing in English.

The HRIS Sync will only sync data for Picklists, MDF/Generic Objects, Foundation Objects and Translatable fields, using the default system language label set in Provisioning.
In the above scenario the "Default Language" of the instance "English US".

The reasoning for this is that EP fields are string fields only and do not support translations. Therefore, the HRIS Sync does not support translations.

Please Note: 
For future dated changes, the sync will be carried out in the Default Locale of the Daily HRIS Sync Job Owner. If this differs from the Default Local of the instance this language will be used to sync data for any future dated changes.

Note:The Date Format of the relevant language defined above will be used when syncing data.

• The "Default Language" is set in provisioning.
• The Job Owner of the HRIS Sync can be checked in Provisioning, if their language differs from the Default Language of the instance, you can either:
  - Change their default local in the UDF 
  - Change the Job Owner to be a different person with the same default local as the instance Default Language.
