2544027 - Failed to call SAP Analytics Cloud agent in SAP Analytics Cloud


  • Failed to call SAP Analytics Cloud agent in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).


  • Please verify SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Connector connection status under the SAP Cloud Platform account that linked to your SAP Analytics Cloud system.  If connected, please contact SAP Support regarding backend connectivity issue. HTTP Status: 503, PATH: /service/api/epm/unx

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Install and Configure SAP Cloud Connector per
  2. Install and Configure SAP Analytics Cloud agent per
  3. Connect to SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.
  4. From the "Main Menu" select "System > Administration".
  5. Click "Datasource Configuration".
  6. Click "Check configuration".
  7. Notice the errors in the symptom section above.


URL Path under Resources Accessible on ACCESS CONTROL tab of Cloud To On-Premise in SAP Cloud Connector is incorrect, not letting SAP Analytics Cloud to access the SAP Analyitcs Cloud Agent you deployed on the Tomcat server.


  1. Connect to SAP Cloud Connector (https://localhost:8443, etc.)
  2. Expand the Subaccount being used for SAP Analytics Cloud
  3. Click "Cloud To On-Premise"
  4. Select the Mapping Virtual To Internal System entry for SAP Analytics Cloud agent
  5. Change the URL Path to /C4A_AGENT/

Recommended actions

  • Please make sure that the SAP Analytics Cloud Agent is accessible via the test URL: http://<Host>:<Port>/C4A_AGENT/deploymentInfo
    • This must return the version of the Agent deployed if successful.
  • Please maintain the Virtual Host and Port - you defined in the SAP Cloud Connector - in SAP Analytics Cloud under the Administration > Datasource Configuration as written in the "Reproducing the Issue" part of this content.
