2544546 - New Batch cannot be created in the Receiving Storage Location in Transfer Postings in MIGO - SAP ERP & SAP S/4 HANA

Symptom

When making a transfer posting using Movement Types like 301, 309 or 311 in Transaction MIGO, you expect a New Batch number to be created in the receiving Storage Location: You have not entered a Batch number in the receiving Batch field. However, the batch number is copied from the Issuing section over to the Receiving section.
