Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment

Resolution
Important: This job should never be ran if the option in Provisioning > Company Settings > "Enable Refresh Framework" is turned on. When this option is enabled, it means that RBP changes are updated in realtime. The job below is an old legacy way to schedule RBP changes.
Also never disable the option "Enable Refresh Framework". The below job is NOT a solution or troubleshooting step when there is an issue with RBP. It should and can only be used if realtime RBP updates are not in use.
Note: If you don't have access to Provisioning, please reach out to your Implementation Partner.
In order to make the regular RBP refresh job work for a specific company instance, the job must be created in Provisioning:
- Log into Provisioning and choose the target company instance
- Click 'Manage Scheduled Jobs' under the 'Managing Job Scheduler' section
- Click 'Create New Job'
- Provide the Job name and Job owner
- For Job owner, choose the admin user of this company
- For the Job Type, select the 'Refresh RBP Rules'
- Choose the job frequency
- It's suggested to set it as 'Recurring', so it will be running automatically and refreshing the RBP
IMPORTANT: This job should not be schedule to run in a high frequency. The recommendation is no more than once every 3 hours.
