2545482 - SWPM asking for the other system's media when a stack XML with two systems is provided

Symptom

  • A stack XML file is generated to install two systems (for example, a front-end and a back-end), but Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) asks for the media files of the front-end when installing the back-end (or vice-versa)
  • Similar error message is seen in SWPM:
    • Last error reported by the step: PPMS product version ID from /path/to/DVD does not match the stack XML file /path/to/stack/XML value xxxxxxxxxxxxxxSOLUTION: Ensure that you use a stack XML file enabled for software provisioning manager.
