2546083 - Error: 'The viewer could not process an event... [CRWEB00000119]' when opening a report based on a BEx Query using an OpenDocument url

Symptom

  • Error when clicking on a link to a report.
  • When launching a report that contains parameters using a url, it fails with an error.
  • Able to refresh the same report successfully in Crystal Reports, after entering the parameter values.
  • When clicking on an OpenDocument url, to open a report that was created in Crystal Reports, and based on an SAP BW BEx Query with at least one variable, it generates the error:
         
       "The viewer could not process an event. Error in file Product Availability -
        Exceptions : Failed to retrieve data from the database.
        Details: [Database Vendor Code; -206 ] [] ---Error code:0 [CRWEB0000019]"
