2546731 - Unconsumed Forecast Quantity Still Showing in the Product Planning

When you delete a Demand Plan, the Unconsumed Forecast quantity is it still being shown in the Product Planning.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Demand Planning work center.
2. Select Demand Plans view.
3. Select the Demand Plan ID XXX (XXX means the Demand Plan ID).
   
4. Click Change Status.
5. Select Set to Obsolete.
6. Select Delete.

 To check if the quantity is being shown in the Product Planning:

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Select Products view.
3. Search for Product ID ABC (ABC means the Product ID).
   
4. Click Open.

Notice that the quantity is still being shown in the Unconsumed Forecast.

When you delete a Demand Plan it will not be used anymore, however the quantity already created will still be considered in the Product Planning.

To delete it from Product Planning, you need to follow the steps:

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Select the Maintain Demand Plan common task.
3. Search for Product ID ABC.
4. Click Go.
5. Select the Product ID ABC.
6. Choose Delete.
7. Select Save and Close.

Thus, the quantity in Unconsumed Forecast will not appear in the Product Planning anymore.
