2548245 - Theme Transport error where resulting theme is corrupted

• You are trying to Transport a custom theme using System Administration -> Portal Display -> Theme Transport
• The export will fail, producing a <custom-theme>.zip file of just 0KB. 
• Checking the Java engine Developer/Default Trace files you observe an error:
