2548385 - Unable to attach document while recording Learning External Events when e-signature is enabled

While users are recording Learning External Events, they are unable to attach documents to the request when e-signature is enabled.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. At Learning Administration > System Administration > Global Variables >
2. Make sure the setting 'Enable electronic signatures for external event' is enabled >
3. As a user, navigate to the Learning homepage >
4. Click on the 'Activities' dropdown menu > Add to Learning History >
5. Select 'External Event' > proceed with the steps and notice that there is no option to upload an attachment.

This is expected behaviour.

This is expected behavior, adding attachments is not supported during the completion recording. However, files can be upload after the submission is sent:

1. At Learning Administration > System Administration > Global Variables >
2. Make sure the setting 'Enable electronic signatures for external event' is enabled >
3. As a user, navigate to the Learning homepage >
4. Click on the 'Activities' dropdown menu > Add to Learning History >
5. Select 'External Event' > proceed with the steps in order to finish the submission >
6. After submitting the E-signature, a message is shown saying that "Learning Recorded Successfully" >
7. At this screen, there is an option to add a 'File Attachment'.

A similar behavior happens when completion event requests trigger approval processes, as per KBA 2518537 - Attachments when recording Learning activities which require approval process.
